My work examines how materials and the process of making gives agency to the Mother Carer; Strength, Fragility and Liminality.
As an artist who is also a mother and carer for a young adult with disabilities my practice has centred around the autobiographical my experiences and wit(H)ness of caring for a child, teenager, adult with disabilities from birth. The battles that have become part of our lives to navigating an officious system of bureaucratic officialdom.
